Hey everyone,
I would like to say thank you to each of you for being in my life in 2010 and may our relationships grow as we enter 2011. Some people rub you and I both the wrong way and we try and steer from them at all costs! Why? Have you ever thought that God may be putting that person in your path for a reason? We all struggle with life at times and some struggle more than others because they feel as though they don't fit in! They can not relate well to others so they avoid relationships. As you approach 2011, ask the Lord to give you a heart for people that are 'odd balls!' At one time in your own life, maybe you were the odd ball that everybody else tried to avoid! God gives each one of us opportunities daily to connect with folks that normally are thought of as different! If we were not different, life would be totally boring. Give someone else hope just like the Christian life gives you hope! (54) When this happens---when our perishable earthly bodies have been transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die---then at last the Scriptures will come true: "Death is swallowed up in victory. (55) O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" (56)For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. (57) How we thank God, who gives us victory over sin and death through Jesus Christ our Lord. The relationship you build with someone may be the key to introducing them to the Savior that has given you hope!!! The power that God gives is the power that can change your heart to reach out and even love someone that everybody passes up! God Bless you as you begin the journey that God has in store for you in 2011!
