Reconnecting or being connected-Ephesians 1:17-19

Hello and Happy New Years to all,
Connected is defined as affiliated, attached, related, coupled, linked, wired, or on-line!  If you lose connection, the signal is lost and a state of confusion or being lost can result.  A good signal on a GPS will usually get you to your destination by giving you instructions to secure that you get there in a timely fashion!  If that signal is lost, it will continue to try and search and dependent on whether or not it reestablishes a signal could determine if you stay lost or not!   That analogy works the same with relationships.  They take time and effort to make sure that they continue to grow.  The ones that you spend the most time with have the greatest tendency to be successful and stay connected.  Think about the relationships you have in your life and think about the following scripture:  'Ask God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you Spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.  I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future He has promised to those He called.  I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance He has given to His people.  I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe Him.'  Jesus Christ wants to dine with you regularly and show you what relationships He wants you to be actively pursuing, so get your GPS signal from the One who will always keep you on course and keep you connected!!  This past weekend, Deborah and I reconnected in our relationship as we spent time together in the mountains of California and began sharing with each other what we wanted to see happen and how excited we were of what God has already done in our lives!  My prayer for each of you is to think about the relationships that are important in you life and ask God to show you which ones are really important and where He wants you to spend the majority of your time.  Of course, this starts with Him first!
Your brother in Christ,
p
