Good morning everyone,
I received an email this morning from Brother Jackie on the importance of combining prayer and praise with each other. He compared the two as being connected together like two body parts. One without the other ends up not near as effective. The more we find ourselves connected to the Father, the more we are going to want to praise His name. The more we praise His name and the more we communicate with Him, the more we will find ourselves doing His work! See God is in the business to work in and through us. If we go about our day and rarely include Him, how are we able to get to know Him? How many of you want to be more productive? I know I do and in order to have productivity that really matters, my prayer is that each of us will seek His face and ask Him to use His amazing power through us! The Holy Spirit 'unleashed' is the gift that keeps on giving. Isaiah 9:6 is one of the most quoted scriptures and His birth changed everything! "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." His power is everlasting and we are vessels that He has allowed that power to flow through back to Him! When we shine for Jesus and speak about Him with 'attitude of gratitude', we are actively letting Him flow through us! Let Him use you like a series of electrical cables so that we can get unbelievers 'jumpstarted' so that they will want to seek the Source!
