Authentic Service! John 14:17

Good morning everyone,
When you think about the word service, does it include you?  See, once you decide to follow Jesus, any and all service becomes important!  1 Corinthians 3:9 says that we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.  The crops that He chooses to plant can reap the most bountiful harvest ever if you allow Him to nourish your soil and work in and through you!  The building that He has given you may not be the most elaborate on the outside but it can be equipped on the inside to take care of the service that He needs done.  We need to realize that any and all service performed in the building (body) that He gave us may just be the topping on the cake!  He didn't create junk and He is ready to transform you into the explanation point at the end of the sentence!  No matter what your outward appearance seems to be (broken, riddled with physical ailments, or feelings of unattractiveness), He wants your heart.  He wants to start by changing everything internally so that others will see that transformation externally.  If you take a seemingly hopeless situation and you trust Him, hope will win out!!  If our service is authentic, it is important to Him.  Authentic is defined as being real; not false or copied; genuine!  Your part is to allow Him to use whatever situation you are in to work His miracles in and through you.  Even if you feel you have nothing to give, remember that He created you to carry out His work regardless of those conditions!  John 14:17 says that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
