Good morning everyone,
Psalm 29 starts out by telling us to ascribe to the Lord! To ascribe is to give credit to the Lord! We are to ascribe about glory and strength that is due to His name and to worship Him in holy array. The voice of the Lord is powerful and majestic. So when a storm comes tumbling down on you without any notice, don't hesitate to know that He can carry you through that storm. The tougher the storm, the more His light can shine through! His capabilities to calm any storm is really built upon how much trust you place in Him. Unless we depend upon the Savior, what is there to be saved from? Savior, Lord, Prince of Peace, and Almighty are just a few of the names that our Creator goes by and yet we try and dig ourselves out of the dilemmas we face. If you really believe what each of these names mean, you should have no reason to doubt His capabilities! See, He is ready to give strength to His people and bless His people with peace. If you are in the midst of chaos right now, pray that He will show you that He is ready to deliver you from that chaos! Remember, He is in the midst of the storm with you!
