Crystal clear! Revelation 22:1; Romans 7:18

Good morning everyone,
When you look through a dirty window, everything looks dingy and less attractive!  When you look through a freshly clean window, the objects that you see have beautiful clarity!  That is the same way sin is that is not dealt with in you life.  Sin has a way of making you a slave to the law of sin unless you allow Jesus Christ to deliver you from it!  It will always rule unless you ask Christ to rid the oxidation dinginess of your heart!  Revelation 22:1 says, 'Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.'  Paul tells us in Romans 7:18 that he knows that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.  For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.  As long as you live this life brothers and sisters, the things that are tempting and sweet will be your demise unless you allow Jesus Christ to rule in your life.  Even when you fall, don't let that be the end.  Cry out for mercy and ask God to change you from the inside all the way out!  We are going to be tempted at times and feel as though we are no good, but it is at those times that He can make miracles out of your messes!  Grace is unmerited favor (undeserved) but that is exactly what the reward is for those that seek His face and serve Him with their whole heart.  David is a good example of a man who did many things wrong but showed how change could occur because His heart was bigger for God than his desires for serving satan!  Ask God to show you how He can make things more crystal clear for you to see what He wants you to accomplish this day!
Your brother in Christ,
p
