Do you fail to tell folks what you think about them? 3 John 1:13-15

Good morning everyone,
As I read 3 John, verses 13-15 stand out because the apostle John (most likely the author) has something so important to tell the people that he refused to send it in a letter.  'I had many things to write to you, but I am not willing to write them to you with pen and ink; but I hope to see you shortly, and we will speak face to face.  Peace be to you.  The friends greet you.  Greet the friends by name.'  3 John demonstrates that believers should practice the dual virtues of love and discernment. Have you ever had something so important to tell someone that you needed to tell them face to face?
If writing someone is the only way that you can convey those thoughts, by all means it is important to write them down before they go fleeting into your forgetfulness.  I get many ideas for devotionals for this blog but if I don't write them down, I quickly forget my train of thought and something else fills my brain.  Many people appreciate others but yet they go a whole life time without expressing to them how they really feel.  If someone is instrumental in your walk with the Lord, let them know how blessed you are to know them.  John applauds Gaius for his Christian walk because he demonstrates hospitality to traveling Christian   missionaries.  If someone does something to express the love of Christ, let them know that they are special!  Don't hesitate to tell them because it may be a fleeting moment where a second opportunity will not present itself.

When you speak, do you reflect joy or anger? James 1:19

Good morning everyone,
You probably have heard the phrase in the past that the Lord blessed you with 2 ears and 1 mouth and that is why we should listen twice as much as we talk!  James 1:19 says, 'This you know my beloved brethren.  But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger.'  When you listen, you have ample opportunity to process and decide how you are going to respond (the doing).  When you talk, do you ask the Lord for 'good processing?'  In other words, do you even consider that the Creator that made you can definitely stop what we are not capable of stopping?  See, we get in trouble because we react instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to control the most deadly muscle in our body.  The tongue is ready to spew at any moment if we do not allow the Holy Spirit to intervene and control.  Is your tongue full of ridicule and condemnation or is it full of joy and praise?  The choice is really yours based on every conversation that comes your way.  You may say that you respond the way you do because of your past.  I would agree, but God can totally change you in a moment, if you would allow Him to change you one conversation at a time.  James tells us that we should be quick to hear but then he gives us the instructions of what to do next.  See, hearing is easy.  The tough part (where the Holy Spirit should take over) is listening until you have an opportunity to respond.  Sometimes it might be better to say nothing because someone may just need you to listen and stay quiet!  Psalm 46:10 tells us to be still and know that I am God.  Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me.  I totally disagree with that old saying!  Words cut deeper than any knife and they can effect the way you go through life.  Isn't it time to allow the Holy Spirit to control you so that you respond with joy and praise?

Is devotion part of your makeup? Romans 12:10

Good morning everyone,
Romans 12:10 tells us to be devoted to one another in love.  We are to honor one another above ourselves.  Why do you think that is so important?  Well, God made us to be like Him.  To serve and not to be served!  So devotion to each other is the key to taking your eyes off your own mess and helping someone else.  When you truly help someone else, you show folks what servant hood is all about; then the reflection goes back to Him.  The times that I feel puffed up and too big for my britches are the times that I miss out on being what God created me to be.  It is so easy to fall into the trap of feeling sorry for your own dilemmas.  When we do that, there is no way that we can devote our time to His greater cause!  The word dedicated is defined as wholly committed to something or someone.  The Lord wants your devotion and dedication so that He can transform you even as you read this!  See when you are wholly committed, you are committing with your entire self or totally giving your self to God so that there is nothing lacking!  You don't get half wet when you step into a pool of water.  Whatever touches the water is fully wet.  As you commit your service to the Lord, ask Him to show you how to devote and dedicate your entire self!

To what degree do you trust Him? 2 John 1:6; Psalm 4:4-6

Good morning everyone,
Upon heading to work yesterday morning,  I saw a long line of people preparing to enter the homeless shelter.  After inquiring, I found that they were waiting to be fed.  My heart was made aware that they may get enough to satisfy them physically but are they getting enough to be fed Spiritually?  See, God cares just as much about them as He cares about you and I!  Those same people will leave the shelter after nourishment and go about their normal routine.  Some will pander, beg, or even steal for their next addiction.  They will ask folks for money, sell their body for money, or steal for money.  They are content with the situation they are in and then there are others who simply will do whatever it takes to secure a better future.  What
exactly is a better future?  Is having the best of everything and not knowing your Savior a better future?  Some of those folks are helpless and simply feel like they are in a no win situation.  They can't do the ordinary things that you and I do that we take for granted.  They are mentally incapable.  Then there are others that are free loaders.  They like taking advantage of folks; they want to appear to want help but they choose to continue to stay in their mess.  See, when you see someone in need and your heart says help, consider that the Holy Spirit is directing you.  If it is someone taking advantage of a situation, turn it over to the Lord and let Him deal with that individual.  Don't let someone dictate you serving in the manor that is pleasing to Him!  Trust Him to show you individuals that genuinely need help.  Ask the Father to show you how to help.  Your trust equals His provisions when there is 'no way!'  2 John 1:6 says, 'And this is love:  that we walk in obedience to His commands.  As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love.'  Psalm 4:4-6 tells us not to sin, to search our hearts and be quiet, to trust Him and then let the light of His face shine on us!  Brothers and sisters, let me encourage you to share these verses with whomever you run across because even the least of these are important to Him!

Watch God move! Job 9:4-6

Good morning everyone,
Today is the first day that I've felt like I have more than 50% of my strength back.  The middle of this past week I was hit with a head cold that was draining to say the least.  Yet, in the midst, I have seen God move in a number of ways.  Job 9:4-6 tells us that His wisdom is profound, His power is vast.  Who has resisted Him and come out unscathed?  He moves mountains without them knowing it and overturns them in His anger.  He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble.  If you recall this past Sunday evening, He gave us a beautiful solar eclipse to enjoy.  Several weeks before that, He positioned the moon the closest it had been to us in years.  If you want to see God move, simply open up your eyes and be amazed!  We get so caught up in the everyday stuff, that we sometimes miss out on His spectacular Creation!  It keeps giving and giving and we keep taking and taking.  I think we should remember to simply say, "Thank You Lord."  He has made everything work so meticulously right that we become putout if it rains when we plan an outdoor activity.  If there is a sudden change in weather that causes us to make changes or cancel our plans, we seem to blame God first.  Genesis 1:25 tells us that God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds.  And God saw that it was good.  Pryor to God introducing man and woman in chapter 2 of Genesis, He did a lot of preparation.  He made everything for you to enjoy so that you could acknowledge Him, watch Him move, and that you would continue to serve Him all the days of your life!  Let me suggest to you to not hesitate in starting that journey today because any delay might be costly in seeing Him move!

Meditate on Him day and night! Joshua 1:8-9; Matthew 6:25-27

Good morning everyone,
When you think about things that are going on in your life, do you meditate on them day and night?  Yes, I'm talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly and if you are not careful you will meditate on the bad and the ugly for the most part.  See, it is important to remember that when you meditate on good things, your life will seem much calmer.  God gives us a way that makes sense when we meditate on His Word and His Ways!  Joshua 1:8-9 tells us that this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.  "Have I not  commanded you?  Be strong and courageous!  Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."  We seem to have dementia or a sense of forgetting the very core of who He is?  Why?  He never promised that life would be this fairy tale ending for those who choose to follow Him!  He did promise that He would be with you through any and all circumstances to give you the strength and courage to remain true to Him.  Granted, your life could be taken before you anticipate leaving, but your soul has been grounded in Him!  Matthew 6:25-27 tells us to not worry about our life, what we will eat or drink; or about our body, or what you will wear.  Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Be on the lookout for deception! Job 15:31; Jeremiah 7:8

Good morning everyone,
Many times we are tricked into believing that part of the truth is as good as the whole truth!  The enemy has a way of embellishing the truth!  In other words, to enhance with false additions.  See, satan is in the business to deceive you so that you will begin to believe his lies and not God's promises.  Job 15:31 tells us to not deceive ourselves by trusting what is worthless, for we will get nothing in return.  Jeremiah 7:8 tells you to look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.  Deception starts when we take our eyes off of the path that He has laid out for us.  The minute we get in trouble is the very minute that we dig ourselves a bigger hole or we allow God to reach down and pull us out.  We either tuck our tail and run or we trust that God will work in and through us!  For God to allow you to go through turmoil does not mean that He doesn't love you.  He wants to work in and through you so that others will see His miraculous works accomplished!
1 Thessalonians 1:6 tells us to become imitators of the Lord, to welcome the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.  The challenge is on for you to give Him all you have so that He can reveal History (His story) through you!

Disobedience results in sin 100% of the time! Judges 6

Good morning everyone,
To set up today's devotional, we need to understand that the people of Israel had just enjoyed 40 years of peace as stated in Judges 5:31.  But then comes their disobedience and the result is sin!  The people cried out to the Lord because of the mess they found themselves to be in and not because they were asking Him for forgiveness.  Does that sound similar to the greed and stubbornness that we find ourselves in today in our nation?  The Lord reminded the Israelites that He was the One that delivered them from their enemies.  Have we forgotten that?  Even if we suffer, we need to remember He is still with us and He still loves us.  They had forgotten who they were to worship and pray to.  If we worship anything (greed, stubbornness, etc.) other than 'I am,' we will also be in a very similar mess.  Judges 6:11 says that an angel of the Lord came and sat under the tree observing Gideon.  Gideon is in the wine press separating the chaff from the grain.  Even though Gideon has no idea about his future, God has big plans to use him for His kingdom.  Isaiah 46:9-10 talks about God using the ordinary to do the unordinary.  Gideon questions the Lord in using him to carry out His work!  How are you going to use me?  Do we do that?  God had chosen Gideon because He called him a valiant warrior.  See God can carry out anything He desires if we will truly give our service over to Him!  Taking the impossible and making it possible.  Maximizing who He created us to be!  God tells Gideon to 'go and deliver' Israel from the hand of the Midianites and God reassures him that they will be defeated!  All we need to know is that He is with us and His will is going to be done!  That, brothers and sisters, is all we need to know!!

Reservations required! Psalm 86:5; Matthew 24:44; John 14:2

Good morning everyone,
When you go to a popular restaurant on a really busy night or you need to stay at a nice hotel around the holiday season, most likely you will need to make a reservation in advance.  There is nothing more frustrating than going to your favorite restaurant ready to eat your weight in food and then finding out it will be 2-3 hours before you can be seated!  Have you ever gone on a trip and winged it?  No set plans; just in your car going in the direction of your destination.  The down side is passing by hotel after hotel with the red neon sign lit up reading, 'no vacancies!'  Whether you try and go to your favorite restaurant or to the most accommodating hotel, let me encourage you to at least call in advance to save frustrations.  Jesus really asks the same of us.  To make sure we have a spot so we don't get there and read the sign, 'no vacancies,' He wants to know our travel plans so He can hold a room for us.  In order that we are ready (equipped; prepared), Psalm 86:5 tells us to call upon Him!  See, He is good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness.  Are you going to call Him in advance so that He can prepare a place for you, or are you going to just show up and then find out that He doesn't even know you?  Matthew 24:44 says, 'For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.'  John 14:2 tells us that In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.  While you still have life and breath, my prayer for each of you is to live for Him so that your permanent reservation is set!

Have I got your attention yet? Hebrews 2:1; 2 Peter 1:19

Good morning everyone,
By typing in the word 'attention,' I found 80 different references in scripture (Bible Gateway) that identify the word 'attention.'  Most of the time when it comes to the Lord, we don't do a very good job of responding when He tries to get our attention.  Hebrews 2:1 says that we need to pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so we don't drift away.  He doesn't want us to drift!  The devil doesn't necessarily pounce on us all at once but more so in a casual, drifting at sea manor.  That way, he lulls us to sleep and then we become lost at sea!  A gradual sin is harder to identify than the need for correction of getting your hand caught in the 'cookie jar,' because it sneaks up on you. The deeper he can sink his hooks into you, the harder it is to get away from him!  If your Captain is the Holy Spirit, He will identify those gradual tendencies so that He reminds you to stay clear of those hooks!  2 Peter 1:19 says that we also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.  He is always present to steer you clear of the darkness toward the light as long as you give Him the attention that He desires!

Is God your consultant or is He Lord of your life? Joshua 5:13-15

Good morning everyone,
To be a consultant is someone who gives advice and part of my job is to educate people about their benefits.  I try and position people so that they are better protected in the event they have a disability or even death.  A lot of people find it very difficult to talk about death and since they have never had any set backs, they think that some of the topics that I talk about simply will not happen to them.  They simply are in denial and they choose to roll the dice!  A lot of people do that when it comes to their relationship with the Lord.  They don't feel like they need anybody that calls the shots in their life because that would be giving up control.  Joshua 5:13-15 tells us that Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand.  Joshua went up to him and asked, "Are you for us or you against us?"  "Neither," he replied, "but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come."  Then Joshua fell down face to the ground in reverence, and asked Him, "What message does my Lord have for His servant?"  The Commander of the Lord's army replied, "Take off your sandals, for the place your are standing is holy ground."  And Joshua did so.  He didn't hesitate when he realized Who was in charge.  Luis Palau gave a sermon on this passage and paraphrased the Scripture as saying, "I didn't come to take sides, Joshua, I came to take over."  Are you ready for Jesus Christ to take over your life?  You can continue to be in denial or you can simply submit!  It is not a matter of weakness brothers and sisters, it is trusting God that you too are standing on holy ground!  When God tugs at your heart strings, He is asking your permission to let Him call the shots.  Don't let satan confuse you by telling you that you can do it on your own.  Protect yourself from that eternal disaster happening and start living and trusting that you are in His 'good hands!'

To be alive! Luke 15:24

Good morning everyone,
To be alive is something for the most part that we take for granted!  That is until we have a close encounter or a near death experience.  Sometimes that draws individuals closer to the Creator and sometimes they just go back to their old 'sinful' self!  Have you heard that it is really hard for an old dog to learn a new trick?  It is the same way with us humans.  We are in constant need of repair and without a personal relationship with the Savior, we end up on the short end of the stick!  Just because Christians have the Source to keep them on the right road without getting lost doesn't mean that they don't constantly need to update their gps!  I believe Psalm 46:1 when it says that God is our ever-present help in trouble.  That means that He never leaves us!  Ladies and gentlemen, isn't it time that we show Him what it means to be alive?  See, to be alive is so much more than just doing the mundane.  It is really thanking Him in all aspects of our lives.  It is loving folks that are struggling with directions and their gps is taking them on roads that are full of potholes.  We need to remember that we once were lost and God still had a place for us to be found.  Instead of judging folks for their shortfalls, lets love them like God has shown love to us and let Him do the updating!  Luke 15:24 says, 'for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.  And they began to celebrate.'  As you start your day, thank Him that you are alive and celebrate so that the whole world will know how He showed you that you are alive!

Lord, break our hearts for what breaks Yours! Psalm 51:16-17

Good morning everyone,
It is my desire to have a servants heart and it is my prayer that you also have a servants heart!  If our heart breaks when we see things that breaks His heart, we become more usable for the Kingdom.  We need to have a heart of compassion for the things that we encounter.  For us to be able to relate to the hurts of this world, we have to be willing to get our knees dirty.  When you become concerned for those that God puts in your path, you will find that you are saying one liners all day long.  When I'm closest to Him, I see things that amaze me.  When I'm too busy being selfish, I can't see past the end of my steering wheel in the long line of traffic.  It doesn't really matter where you are at; it matters how you use your time.  Psalm 51:16-17 says, 'You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.  My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart You, God, will not despise.'  If you become tangled in your own dilemmas, you will never feel as though you have anything to give.  Pray that God will show you how to focus on other folks and before you know it, your problems will become less of a battle.  See, we are always going to have issues.  If we can take our eyes off of them, then we quickly can see that our problems are minor in comparison to others!

Authentic Service! John 14:17

Good morning everyone,
When you think about the word service, does it include you?  See, once you decide to follow Jesus, any and all service becomes important!  1 Corinthians 3:9 says that we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.  The crops that He chooses to plant can reap the most bountiful harvest ever if you allow Him to nourish your soil and work in and through you!  The building that He has given you may not be the most elaborate on the outside but it can be equipped on the inside to take care of the service that He needs done.  We need to realize that any and all service performed in the building (body) that He gave us may just be the topping on the cake!  He didn't create junk and He is ready to transform you into the explanation point at the end of the sentence!  No matter what your outward appearance seems to be (broken, riddled with physical ailments, or feelings of unattractiveness), He wants your heart.  He wants to start by changing everything internally so that others will see that transformation externally.  If you take a seemingly hopeless situation and you trust Him, hope will win out!!  If our service is authentic, it is important to Him.  Authentic is defined as being real; not false or copied; genuine!  Your part is to allow Him to use whatever situation you are in to work His miracles in and through you.  Even if you feel you have nothing to give, remember that He created you to carry out His work regardless of those conditions!  John 14:17 says that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

The Voice of the Lord in the Storm! Psalm 29

Good morning everyone,
Psalm 29 starts out by telling us to ascribe to the Lord!  To ascribe is to give credit to the Lord!  We are to ascribe about glory and strength that is due to His name and to worship Him in holy array.  The voice of the Lord is powerful and majestic.  So when a storm comes tumbling down on you without any notice, don't hesitate to know that He can carry you through that storm.  The tougher the storm, the more His light can shine through!  His capabilities to calm any storm is really built upon how much trust you place in Him.  Unless we depend upon the Savior, what is there to be saved from?  Savior, Lord, Prince of Peace, and Almighty are just a few of the names that our Creator goes by and yet we try and dig ourselves out of the dilemmas we face.  If you really believe what each of these names mean, you should have no reason to doubt His capabilities!  See, He is ready to give strength to His people and bless His people with peace.  If you are in the midst of chaos right now, pray that He will show you that He is ready to deliver you from that chaos!  Remember, He is in the midst of the storm with you!

Abundance! Matthew 13:11-13; Matthew 25:29; John 1:16

Good morning everyone,
Do you literally understand the word abundance and how the word is to be applied to you?  Matthew 13:11-13 says, He replied, "You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.  To those that listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge.  But for those that are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.  This is why I use these parables, For they look but they do not see.  They hear, but they don't really listen or understand."  These verses are very clear that we have been given something very special if we open up our hearts to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.  His word is powerful and it allows each of us to fully understand Him and to know Him!  Is your Bible dusty and dormant (temporarily devoid of external activity)?  Let me encourage you to crack it open and see what God is abundantly ready to offer you!  Matthew 25:29 says, "To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance.  But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away."  Are you investing your talents well?  You may say, 'What little I have if not going to make a difference.'  I beg to differ.  Ask God to show you how and then start using them!  John 1:16 tells us that from His abundance, we have all received one gracious blessing after another.  Start right now acknowledging all that God has done for you and praise His name and see what happens next.  You will be amazed!

Be joyful in hope! Romans 12:12

Good morning everyone,
Have you ever noticed that we get tied up in things that we have no business being tied up in?  Romans 12:12 tells us that we are to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  The moment we have any kind of drama in our lives, for the most part, we throw up our hands and become anything but joyful in hope.  We quickly lose sight of showing love in action!  See, this verse is really for showing others how Jesus can take us through the lowest valley and still beam as if we are on the highest peak.  It gives us a formula that we should first consider and that is to be faithful in prayer and to be patient through any affliction.  If we really believe that God is with us, then who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?  Jesus conquered death from a cross.  Can He not bring you through any and all trials that you face?  When in doubt, pray!  If you feel completely alone as if you are disconnected from Him, maybe He wants you to stop and listen to Him!  In the midst of chaos, we have a tendency to react instead of trusting that He is revealing something new to us!  If we are too busy being busy, we probably miss what He is trying to tell us!  When you are faced with sadness, impatience, doubt, or any other dilemma, remember to ask God to help you demonstrate the same patience that He has already demonstrated to you.  The more we trust Him, the more others will see that there is a different way to deal with issues than how they have handled problems in the past.  If we can be a 'shining light' in the midst of chaos, think about the number of people that it might affect.  Affect literally means to act upon.  When people see how your response to chaos is different than the norm, it just might be the 'hope' that directs them to the Kingdom!

Is your foundation built on a rock or on sinking sand? Psalm 63:6; Proverbs 10:25

Good morning everyone,
Psalm 63:6 tells us that He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken.  We have a choice in how we set up our foundation!  Jesus gives us the opportunity to have the best and strongest foundation and yet many times we put all of our efforts into a lost cause!  Why?  Because we think we know better than the actual Creator himself.  That doesn't make much sense!  If you feel as though you are in the midst of a whirlwind of sorts, Proverbs 10:25 reminds us that the righteous have an everlasting foundation.  See, many folks read that verse and they don't think that it really applys to them because they don't see that they are fit for the kingdom!  To be honest, none of us are really worthy of what God has to offer!  Yet, He still gives all (not some) of us the gift of eternal life with Him because of His gift called grace.  When we trust Him with all of our mess and mayheim, He will provide the foundation that will last through anything!  Ladies and gentlemen, quit trying to analyze your problems to determine whether or not you are worthy of what He is freely offering!  Start by saying that Jesus is in control and if so and so happens, it is now His situation and not mine.  A foundation is only as good as the object in which it is placed!  If you want to continue to go down a road and do you own thing without His support, you are going to be miserable.  Let me encourage you to let Him do open heart surgery on you and you too can be changed in a moment.  Freedom seems to be so far away for those locked up in torment when it is really one prayer away.  We feel many of our problems are too small to bother God with and before we know it, our little problems become monster problems.  When you feel as though you are a lost cause, let me encourage you by saying that I too was a lost cause!  That is until I quit trying to make excuses for my current situtation of problems of being lonely. There will always be situations that we can blame our problems on and there is only one solution--truly trusting and obeying the 'Foundation Creator' Himself!  The reward will be the most gratifying and free act that you will ever experience in your life.

Who quenches your thirst? John 4:10

Good morning everyone,
It has been sometime since I've been in front of my keypad so I may be a bit rusty with this devotional.  I find it amazing that God places so many people in your life when you need to have your thirst quenched!  Yesterday, I dreaded flying because I was in a middle row traveling from Ontario to Houston and I was going to board in group 7 (yes; birds, cats and dogs get on before group 7).  I knew that there would be limited space to store my luggage, so I had my bible and my computer out of my bag when I reached my seat.  I had just sat down when I noticed that the lady to my left was preparing a Beth Moore bible study.  After a short nap, the flight attendant passed by with a tray of water and juice.  Upon receiving a cup of water and Him seeing the two of us with our bibles open, His comments were amazing.  He made the comment, and to paraphrase it, that the water He could give me was only going to quench my thirst temporarily, but Jesus promises that He can quench your thirst forever!  John 4:10 says that Jesus answered and said to her, "If your knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."  On the next flight from Houston to Corpus Christi, I sat by a lady that did something that I normally do for other people.  She prayed for me!  She invited me to church on Wednesday night.  Folks, when you need to be ministered too, just be available and God will provide.  He puts you in the midst of 'springs of living water!'  As you start your day, thank Him for where He has placed you and ask Him to flow through you as you get your feet wet!
Your brother in Christ,
p
