But how can I have a baby? Luke 1:34-38

Hello everyone,
Okay, I really can't have a baby, but I'm referring to the disbelief that Mary felt because she was still a virgin.  Mary asked the angel, "But how can I have a baby?  I am a virgin."(miracle #1) At the time, Mary probably felt completely alone, scared and confused.  She quickly was told that she not only was pregnant but also was going to deliver the Savior of the world (miracle #2)!  Wow!  That would be a lot to handle in one setting with an angel.  Oh, by the way, who would believe her story as friends found out?  It would take a divine intervention like no other!  It would take a faith like only our Savior could give.  Every piece of the puzzle had to be put in place exactly in perfect order!  How many times do we face much smaller scale issues in our lives and still doubt knowing God is in control?  The angel went on to say, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.  So the baby born to you will be Holy, and He will be called the Son of God.  What's more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age (miracle #3)!  People use to say she was barren, but she's already in her sixth month.  For nothing is impossible with God."  Reread that last part and let it soak in!  Nothing is impossible with God!!!  Whatever challenge you face, face it looking through it with God's eyes!  If you think that is impossible, just pray to Him that He will let you see it as He sees it!  I guarantee it will make all the difference in the world.  Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant, and I am willing to accept whatever He wants.  May everything you have said come true."  And then the angel left.  God gave Mary a task that was bigger than anything you will face in your life and it comes down to whether or not you are willing to accept whatever He wants!!!
Your brother in Christ,
p
