A psalm of Thanksgiving-Psalm 100

Good morning everyone,
Only 10 days left until we celebrate the birth of our Savior!  As you attend a Worship Service or several in honor of Him, think about Psalm 100!  Shout with joy to the Lord, O Earth!  Worship the Lord with gladness.  Come before Him, singing with joy.  Acknowledge that the Lord is God!  He made us, and we are His.  We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him and bless His name.  For the Lord is good.  His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.  Don't let the festivities of commercialism and buying gifts deter from you praising the One that created you.  Gifts, toys, and things only last for a season but the 'Gift of God' lasts for an eternity.  Don't you think that getting to know the Creator of the universe might be exciting and refreshing?  If not, we need to talk!  Lets make a pack for the new year.  Agree with me that you will turn over a new leaf for the coming year!  Agree that whether you stayed up late or not, that you will spend your first couple of minutes of every morning in Solitude with the Lord; your first fruits of the day!  If you will be faithful in the little, He will free up time and energy that you didn't even know you had.  Only a very short time ago, I was too busy to see straight.  But He has still allowed me to put the first moments of the day in His lap.  This time next year, you will be excited about what you have to report back to me.  I guarantee it!!!
Your brother in Christ,
p
