70 X 7-Matthew 18:21-22

Good morning brothers and sisters,
As I awake this Sunday morning, I pray that all of you have spent time with the Father and have gotten your instructions for the direction He wants you to head!  There is a Christian song on the radio these days titled 7 times 70 times by Chris August and it really is the core of Matthew 18:21-22.  Then Peter came to Him and asked, "Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me?  Seven times?"  "No," Jesus replied, "seventy times seven!"  A couple of lines in the song addresses the need for forgiveness!  'I'll do what it takes to make it right' and the power of healing that goes along with forgiveness when he sings, 'there's healing here in this house.'  Google it and be Blessed (7 x 70)!  Seven is the perfect number!  After all the Lord created the entire heavens and the earth and all of humanity in six days and rested on the seventh!  There is completeness in the number seven.  We are to forgive our brother 70 x 7 which represents an unlimited number of times!  Who do you need to go to and ask for forgiveness?  Colossians 3:13 says, 'Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one and then forgive as the Lord forgave you.'  It seems that we often forget that we have been forgiven many times more than we deserve yet we hold others on a higher level of accountability than we do ourselves!  As you continue your day, ask God to reveal to you just who might be the one you need to connect with so that you can 'make it right!'
Your brother in Christ,
p
