Be on the lookout for deception! Job 15:31; Jeremiah 7:8

Good morning everyone,
Many times we are tricked into believing that part of the truth is as good as the whole truth!  The enemy has a way of embellishing the truth!  In other words, to enhance with false additions.  See, satan is in the business to deceive you so that you will begin to believe his lies and not God's promises.  Job 15:31 tells us to not deceive ourselves by trusting what is worthless, for we will get nothing in return.  Jeremiah 7:8 tells you to look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.  Deception starts when we take our eyes off of the path that He has laid out for us.  The minute we get in trouble is the very minute that we dig ourselves a bigger hole or we allow God to reach down and pull us out.  We either tuck our tail and run or we trust that God will work in and through us!  For God to allow you to go through turmoil does not mean that He doesn't love you.  He wants to work in and through you so that others will see His miraculous works accomplished!
1 Thessalonians 1:6 tells us to become imitators of the Lord, to welcome the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.  The challenge is on for you to give Him all you have so that He can reveal History (His story) through you!
Your brother in Christ,
p
