Meditate on Him day and night! Joshua 1:8-9; Matthew 6:25-27

Good morning everyone,
When you think about things that are going on in your life, do you meditate on them day and night?  Yes, I'm talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly and if you are not careful you will meditate on the bad and the ugly for the most part.  See, it is important to remember that when you meditate on good things, your life will seem much calmer.  God gives us a way that makes sense when we meditate on His Word and His Ways!  Joshua 1:8-9 tells us that this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.  "Have I not  commanded you?  Be strong and courageous!  Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."  We seem to have dementia or a sense of forgetting the very core of who He is?  Why?  He never promised that life would be this fairy tale ending for those who choose to follow Him!  He did promise that He would be with you through any and all circumstances to give you the strength and courage to remain true to Him.  Granted, your life could be taken before you anticipate leaving, but your soul has been grounded in Him!  Matthew 6:25-27 tells us to not worry about our life, what we will eat or drink; or about our body, or what you will wear.  Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Your brother in Christ,
p
